Security Officer Requirements in Pennsylvania
- In Pennsylvania, security officers who carry a lethal weapon on the job must be certified under the Lethal Weapons Training Act (Act 235), run by the Pennsylvania State Police. Act 235 certification is not a substitute for a license to carry a firearm. Source
