Built for Luxury Retail
Luxury retail is the core of what MGP does. A high-end store needs security that protects merchandise and staff while keeping the client experience polished and welcoming. Officers are selected and trained for that setting: professional appearance, discretion and the judgment to tell the difference between a valued client and a real risk. See Luxury Retail Asset Protection.
Protect People
Life safety and de-escalation come first, and people come ahead of recovery.
Protect Property
A visible, well-briefed officer can deter theft and support a safer response when an incident occurs.
Protect the Experience
An officer at the entrance provides service and performs a security function at the same time.
Protect the Brand
Professional judgment keeps an incident from turning into a reputational problem.
The MGP Officer Tier Structure
Every MGP officer is assigned a tier from Tier I to Tier IV based on experience, licensing and training, so each post is staffed at the right level. See Officer Classifications.
Tier I: Entry-Level
Access control, visitor screening, patrol and site security, with state licensing and training on site-specific Post Orders.
Tier II: Experienced
Sales floors, loss prevention support, corporate and concierge posts. Three or more years of experience, with active shooter and de-escalation training.
Tier III: Retired Law Enforcement
Executive protection support and high-value asset protection by retired officers with 20 or more years of sworn service.
Tier IV: Off-Duty Law Enforcement
Critical incident response and dignitary and VIP protection, where the local agency permits off-duty work.
