Security Services in Missouri
Missouri’s commercial activity is anchored by the St. Louis and Kansas City metros, each with established luxury retail districts and large corporate, medical and logistics employers. Springfield, Columbia and the Branson tourism corridor add significant regional retail and hospitality activity.
Security Considerations in Missouri
The state’s two largest metros sit at opposite ends of the state, and Kansas City extends into Kansas. Clients with stores or offices in both regions need the same officer standards, post orders and reporting format in each, so that regional managers can compare locations and address concerns without sorting through different practices. Consistent supervision is particularly important for sites far from either metro.
Professional sports, concerts and conventions in St. Louis and Kansas City, along with seasonal tourism in Branson, create predictable spikes in crowd size. Retailers, hotels and venues benefit from coverage plans built around the event calendar, with officers briefed in advance and trained to manage busy entrances courteously. Advance planning keeps those event dates fully staffed.
Markets Served in Missouri

Services Available
Services in Missouri include luxury retail asset protection, retail security officers, concierge and lobby security, commercial building security, special event security, executive protection support and fire watch. Post Orders are written for each location around its layout, hours and risk.
Screening, Training and Supervision
Officers complete a five-stage screening process and tier-based training before assignment, including de-escalation and, for retail posts, organized retail crime recognition. Supervisors make unannounced site visits, and the MGP Operations Desk answers 24/7/365. Incidents are documented on scene, time-stamped and GPS-verified.
Missouri Licensing
Missouri does not license security companies at the state level, and licensing is handled locally. McCray Global Protection holds Kansas City license 2121048704 and St. Louis license LC09998315. Elsewhere in Missouri, McCray Global Protection operates under the MGP Hybrid Operating Model, with officers supplied by vetted, licensed local partners and the program managed by MGP.
How is security guard coverage priced?
Rates depend on the officer classification, hours, schedule and site requirements. MGP provides a written rate schedule after reviewing your needs. Holiday, overnight and short-notice coverage is billed at a premium rate.
