Security Services in New Hampshire

New Hampshire’s lack of a general sales tax draws shoppers from neighboring states to malls and outlet centers in the southern tier. Beyond the Merrimack Valley, the Seacoast, the Lakes Region and the White Mountains support tourism-driven retail through much of the year.

Security Considerations in New Hampshire

Southern New Hampshire retailers see a large share of out-of-state customers, with traffic peaking on weekends and ahead of holidays. Stores carrying high-value goods benefit from officers who stay attentive through long shifts, work closely with mall security, and follow consistent stockroom, fitting room and closing procedures no matter how busy the day becomes.

Tourist areas in the north and along the coast are highly seasonal, with summer visitors, autumn foliage traffic and ski season each bringing different crowds. Long distances between towns and heavy winter weather mean a provider should staff locally, plan for storm days and keep supervisors in regular contact with each site.

Services Available

Services in New Hampshire include luxury retail asset protection, retail security officers, concierge and lobby security, commercial building security, special event security, executive protection support and fire watch. Post Orders are written for each location around its layout, hours and risk.

Screening, Training and Supervision

Officers complete a five-stage screening process and tier-based training before assignment, including de-escalation and, for retail posts, organized retail crime recognition. Supervisors make unannounced site visits, and the MGP Operations Desk answers 24/7/365. Incidents are documented on scene, time-stamped and GPS-verified.

New Hampshire Licensing

In New Hampshire, McCray Global Protection operates under the MGP Hybrid Operating Model. Officers are supplied by vetted local partners who hold the licenses required by the state and local jurisdiction, and MGP manages the program: screening and training standards, supervision, Post Orders, reporting and account management.

How is security guard coverage priced?

Rates depend on the officer classification, hours, schedule and site requirements. MGP provides a written rate schedule after reviewing your needs. Holiday, overnight and short-notice coverage is billed at a premium rate.
