Officer Uniform Options

How MGP officers look on post is chosen with each client, location by location. Formal and tactical options are available, and the selected style is written into the Post Orders.

Formal Wear

Formal wear is a black suit and black tie, worn with a black or white shirt. It suits posts where officers work alongside sales associates and clients.

Tactical Wear

Hardline uniforms carry the MGP shoulder patch and are built for posts with more movement, exposure to weather or a need for a stronger visible deterrent.

The MGP Patch and Insignia

The MGP shoulder patch identifies MGP personnel on post. Insignia distinguish Officers, Supervisors, Managers and Directors, so store and building teams know who is leading at the site.

How the Uniform Is Chosen

  • The style is agreed with the client during the security assessment, based on the location, the post and the client’s brand standards.
  • The selected style is recorded in the Post Orders for each location, so relief officers arrive dressed the same way.
  • Uniform and appearance are inspected in the field.
