Security Services in Arkansas
Arkansas is home to several major corporate headquarters in retail, logistics and food production, most of them in the northwest corner of the state. Little Rock serves as the center of government, healthcare and banking, while trucking and distribution operations run along the I-40 and I-49 corridors.
Security Considerations in Arkansas
The state’s business activity is divided between two main areas, Northwest Arkansas and Central Arkansas, which sit about three hours apart. Clients with sites in both need a provider that can supervise across that distance, keep reporting consistent and staff locations in smaller cities such as Fort Smith, Conway and Jonesboro without lowering standards.
Corporate and supplier offices in Northwest Arkansas often hold confidential materials and product samples, which calls for careful access control and visitor procedures. Across the state, distribution and manufacturing sites need gate control and dock supervision on overnight shifts. Spring storms, flooding and occasional ice also require clear weather procedures and backup staffing plans.
Markets Served in Arkansas
Coverage also extends to Fort Smith, Hot Springs, Conway, Jonesboro and Pine Bluff.
Services Available
Services in Arkansas include luxury retail asset protection, retail security officers, concierge and lobby security, commercial building security, special event security, executive protection support and fire watch. Post Orders are written for each location around its layout, hours and risk.
Screening, Training and Supervision
Officers complete a five-stage screening process and tier-based training before assignment, including de-escalation and, for retail posts, organized retail crime recognition. Supervisors make unannounced site visits, and the MGP Operations Desk answers 24/7/365. Incidents are documented on scene, time-stamped and GPS-verified.
Arkansas Licensing
In Arkansas, McCray Global Protection operates under the MGP Hybrid Operating Model. Officers are supplied by vetted local partners who hold the licenses required by the state and local jurisdiction, and MGP manages the program: screening and training standards, supervision, Post Orders, reporting and account management.
How is security guard coverage priced?
Rates depend on the officer classification, hours, schedule and site requirements. MGP provides a written rate schedule after reviewing your needs. Holiday, overnight and short-notice coverage is billed at a premium rate.
