Corporate Office Security Built Around Your Workplace

MGP provides reception, access control and patrol officers for corporate headquarters, regional offices and executive floors. Officers protect your people and information while keeping the front of house professional.

Security That Fits a Corporate Environment

Corporate security teams need officers who can enforce access policy without disrupting the business. That means recognizing employees, handling executives and visitors with discretion, and escalating correctly when something is out of place.

MGP officers are selected and briefed for front-of-house presentation and are trained on your badge policy, visitor procedures and escalation contacts before they stand post.

Access Control and Visitor Management

Access control is only as strong as the people enforcing it at the door. MGP officers apply the controls you already have in place and report gaps when they find them.

  • Reception and security desk coverage with visitor registration and host notification
  • Badge verification and prevention of tailgating and piggybacking at turnstiles and secured doors
  • Response to access control alarms for forced and held doors
  • Mailroom and package screening support under your procedures
  • Verification of contractor, vendor and after-hours access

Workplace Violence Prevention and Emergency Response

OSHA has treated workplace violence as a recognized hazard under the General Duty Clause, Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. MGP supports your prevention program by training officers on behavioral warning signs, de-escalation, protocols for terminated employees and protective orders, and the reporting chain set by HR and corporate security. Training draws on practices described in the ANSI/ASIS/SHRM standard on workplace violence and active assailant prevention, intervention and response.

Officers are briefed on your emergency action plan, evacuation and shelter-in-place procedures, and responder escort routes. They are also instructed on accessible entrances and on assisting people with disabilities during an evacuation, consistent with the ADA considerations in your plan.

Executive Floors, Events and Sensitive Areas

For executive suites, boardrooms and areas holding sensitive information, MGP can assign Tier III retired law enforcement officers and coordinate with MGP executive protection services for arrivals, travel and high-profile meetings. Town halls, shareholder meetings and on-site events can be staffed with additional officers, including Tier IV off-duty law enforcement where appropriate.

After-hours floor patrols, clean desk checks and documentation of unsecured doors or materials help protect confidential information outside business hours.

Integration With Corporate Security Operations

Many corporate clients run a GSOC or contract with a monitoring provider. MGP integrates officers with the client’s GSOC or a monitoring partner’s operations center, so alarm events, camera calls and on-site response are handled under a shared escalation protocol.

PostControl gives corporate security digital post orders, incident reports and shift reports from every location, so leadership can review activity on each post without relying on handwritten logs.

Consistent Standards Across Every Office

Companies with offices in several cities expect the same standard in every lobby. MGP staffs offices in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom under the MGP Hybrid Operating Model and in other countries through the MGP Global Partner Program. Every site uses the same post order structure and reporting format.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can MGP officers work with our existing access control system?

Yes. Officers are trained on your system’s alarm handling, badge procedures and escalation contacts. MGP does not replace your system; our officers operate within it and enforce your policies.

How does MGP handle a terminated employee or a protective order situation?

We follow the protocol set by your HR and corporate security teams. Officers receive a briefing, a photo where appropriate, and clear instructions on denying access and whom to contact.

Do your officers support workplace violence prevention programs?

Yes. Officers are trained on warning signs, de-escalation and reporting, and they work within the program your organization maintains. Training draws on the ANSI/ASIS/SHRM workplace violence standard; MGP does not claim certification under it.

Can we have different officer profiles at reception and on executive floors?

Yes. Reception may be staffed by Tier I or Tier II officers while executive areas are covered by Tier III retired law enforcement officers, based on the exposure of each post.

How will we receive reports?

Through PostControl. Incident and shift reports are digital and time-stamped, and they are available to the contacts you designate.
